MAHARASHTRIAN STYLE DRY DRUMSTICK RECIPE
- Drumstick – 250 grms
- Sugar – ¼ tsp
- Onion – 3 big
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp + a pinch
- Goda masala OR kala masala OR garam masala – ¾ tsp
- Karal / niger seeds chutney pwdr – ¼ cup
- Finely chopped coriander leaves – 1 cup
- Salt to taste
Chop the drumstick into small pieces .
Take the drumstick + water upto the level of drumsticl + sugar + turmeric .
Cover and cook on medium flame for 10 mins.
Heat oil in a pan add onions and stir fry till light brown .
Add garam masala + turmeric and mix well .
Add the cooked drumstick and give a mix .
Now add the karal chutney powder and mix well.
Cover and simmer on low flame for 5 mins.
Finally add the coriander leaves and give a mix .
Off the flame .
Serve hot with bakris or any indian bread items .
