About Idli batter

Idli batter is a readily available batter used to make idlis from urad dal, idli rice and methi. Idlis are a popular south Indian breakfast served throughout India. Take out the required batter and add some salt to the batter and mix well. Now pour the batter into the idli mould. Add water in idli steamer and place the idli plate into steamer and steam for 10-12 minutes.
