About Methi

Methi leaves are small and grow on slender, green stems that reach a height of 25-50 centimeters. The oblong to rounded leaflets are thin and delicate, growing in clusters of three. Methi leaves have a light, sweet aroma and a mild, grassy, slightly bitter flavor with notes of celery, fennel, and maple syrup when fresh. As the plant matures, it produces sword-shaped, pea-like pods containing 10-20 small, flat, yellow-brown pungent and aromatic seeds with a flavor similar to the leaves.
